Okay, so, I’ll probably get some hate for this, but it’s simply a question I’ve been pondering for awhile now.

Why won’t vegans eat eggs or drink milk from local, sustainable farms? I mean, the cows need to be milked and the chickens have to lay eggs. If they are treated humanely without using chemicals, I don’t really understand what the problem is. When I raise my chickens, they will not be around roosters, so the eggs will never be fertilized. They will be fed top-quality feed and table scraps and never given chemicals unless necessary (say they get sick). They will be loved as much as any of my pets and treated better than some people’s children. I will not kill them when they stop laying, because they will be part of the family. If someone could clear this up for me, it would be awesome.

Vegans are against riding horses. If you’re going to try and insult us, at least do your research and educate yourself...
